As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities by maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery. You will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
– Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to, machines, conveyor systems, cranes and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
– Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions and technical issues, utilizing technical manuals, diagnostic tools
– Repair and Replacement: Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as motors, sensors, bearings, and electrical wiring, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
– Calibration and Adjustment: Calibrate machinery and equipment to ensure accuracy and consistency in production processes. Make necessary adjustments to optimize performance and minimize waste.
– Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory of spare parts. Provide input for improving maintenance procedures and protocols.
– Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety training programs to promote a safe working environment.
– Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement in collaboration with engineering and production teams. Propose and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.
– Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, prioritizing the restoration of operations to minimize production downtime. Act decisively and effectively under pressure to mitigate risks and prevent disruptions.
-Able to read Blueprints and Schematics.
